Enhancing mental health support
Recognising and addressing mental health concerns is crucial for fostering a supportive and healthy workplace. SingPost aims to develop a robust network of mental health first aiders who can provide initial support and guidance to colleagues experiencing distress.
Specifically, first aiders are trained to create a supportive environment for colleagues experiencing stress, listen empathetically without judgement, and connect colleagues to additional resources, such as professional mental health support, community networks, and self-care activities.
As a pilot, a Mental Health First Aid training was carried out in early 2025 for the first batch of mental health first aiders in Singapore.
