Israel Postal Company (Israel Post) informs that the State of Israel has extended the state of emergency until 16 June 2026.
Israel Post operations continue to function normally, with certain restrictions; therefore, service delays may occur.
Israel Post will do its utmost to minimize any potential inconvenience.

CTT Correios de Portugal notifies that a number of unions have called a 24-hour general strike of public and private sectors, commencing at 00.01 CEST on 3 June 2026. As a result, all postal services may experience delays and disruption.
CTT Correios de Portugal is taking steps to minimize any inconvenience. However, depending on the response to the call to strike, the impact may continue during the days that follow.

Bolivia - Service disruption
Agencia Boliviana de Correos advises that owing to social unrest, starting on 14 May 2026, there are road blockades and severe aviation fuel shortages throughout the country. Both land transport and airline operations (domestic and international) are heavily disrupted. The disruption is expected to continue until such time as the Government of Bolivia resolves the situation.
Consequently, there may be delays in the delivery of postal items. Agencia Boliviana de Correos has also invoked force majeure for all inbound and outbound mail streams.

Belgium – National demonstration on 12 May 2026
bpost notifies that the major Belgian unions have called a 24-hour national demonstration, commencing at 00:01 CEST (UTC+2) on Tuesday, 12 May 2026.
This demonstration is expected to affect various sectors and industries across the country, including letter-post and parcel-post deliveries, as well as bpost’s domestic and international logistics network. It will also involve ground handlers and other airport and airline personnel.
It is anticipated that the impact on road transport will be limited and that related operations will continue largely as normal. However, disruption and delays are to be expected in the handling of inbound and outbound airmail dispatches at Brussels Airport.

Poste Italiane advises that an Italian union has confirmed a four-hour strike involving certain handling agents at Milan’s airports, commencing at 13:00 CEST (UTC+2) on 11 May 2026.
Poste Italiane will ensure that mitigation measures are taken at its airmail units. However, depending on adherence to the strike call, the impact may continue over the following days.

New Zealand – Flooding in Greater Wellington and Wairarapa
NZ Post informs that a state of local emergency has been declared for parts of the Greater Wellington and Wairarapa regions due to torrential rains and flooding.
These adverse weather conditions have disrupted delivery services across both regions. As a result, NZ Post suspended delivery services for a day, on Tuesday, 21 April 2026. Delivery services resumed on Wednesday, 22 April, where it was safe to do so. However, some rural areas remain inaccessible and minor disruption may continue.
NZ Post is taking all necessary measures to limit any disruption and to maintain service continuity as much as possible.

Jamaica – Postal service update on Hurricane Melissa
Jamaica Post advises that although mail acceptance and processing for international and domestic services have resumed, delays are still expected in mail delivery and the transmission of electronic messages/updates.
Some parts of the postal network have not been restored to pre-hurricane conditions and are thus operating from temporary locations. These locations lack the necessary tools and equipment for full service provision and functionality.
